Set up PickupPro

Add PickupPro to your cart, choose when customers can collect orders, and configure the pickup details you want to collect.

1) Add PickupPro to your cart

  1. Open your Shopify Admin.
  2. Go to Online Store → Themes.
  3. Select Customize on the theme you want to use.
  4. Open your Cart template.
  5. Add the PickupPro cart calendar app block.
  6. Save the theme.

PickupPro only affects the cart when its theme app block is added and enabled.

2) Choose your pickup availability

Open PickupPro from your Shopify Admin and configure the dates customers are allowed to select.

  • Minimum lead time: prevent customers from choosing dates that are too soon.
  • Available weekdays: choose which days you offer pickup.
  • Disabled dates: block individual dates such as holidays.
  • Disabled date ranges: block longer periods when pickup is unavailable.

3) Configure pickup time slots

If you want customers to choose a pickup time as well as a date, enable time slots in PickupPro.

  • Choose the length of each time slot.
  • Set the available pickup window for each weekday.
  • Add date-specific overrides when a particular day needs different hours.

When time slots are enabled, customers must choose an available time before continuing to checkout.

4) Choose which customer details to collect

PickupPro can optionally collect additional pickup information directly in the cart.

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Additional pickup notes

Name and phone fields can be required when enabled.

5) Configure product-specific availability

If selected products need a different pickup window, use the product-specific availability settings.

This can be useful for products that require extra preparation time or are only available during a particular period.

6) Test the customer experience

  1. Add a product to your storefront cart.
  2. Choose an available pickup date.
  3. Choose a pickup time if time slots are enabled.
  4. Complete any required customer pickup fields.
  5. Continue to checkout.

After placing a test order, confirm the pickup details are visible in the Shopify Admin order.
