Shoptimizer Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Required Pickup Date (the “App”), provided by Shoptimizer (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1) The App
The App adds a configurable pickup calendar experience to your Shopify cart page via a Theme App Extension block. When enabled on the cart page, the App can:
- Require customers to select a pickup date before checkout
- Optionally require a pickup time (time slots) if enabled
- Optionally collect pickup details (name/phone/notes) depending on merchant settings
- Optionally enforce seasonal availability windows for specific products
If the theme app block is not added to the cart page, the App does not block checkout.
2) Eligibility and Shopify account
You must have an active Shopify store and be authorized to install apps on that store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account.
3) Fees and billing
The App may be offered for free during a beta period. If we introduce paid plans, we will clearly disclose pricing and billing terms before any charges apply.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the App except as permitted by law
- Use the App to violate any law, third-party rights, or Shopify’s policies
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or related systems
5) Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the App. Pickup details are typically saved to Shopify cart attributes and/or order notes so the merchant can fulfill orders correctly.
6) Availability and changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) from time to time. We aim to keep the App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7) Merchant responsibility
You are responsible for configuring the App for your business (including lead times, disabled dates, time slots, and any collection fields), and for ensuring your store policies and communications to customers are accurate.
8) Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shoptimizer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
10) Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if required to comply with law, to protect the App, or if we believe these Terms have been violated.
11) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your operating jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
